PENDEKATAN KETAULADANAN PERSPEKTIF PENDIDIKAN ISLAM DALAM PEMBINAAN KARAKTER PESERTA DIDIK SEKOLAH DASAR

Penelitian ini bertujuan menelaah bagaimana pendekatan keteladanan yang dilaksanakan guru dalam rangka membina karakter peserta didik Sekolah Dasar Negeri Ringin Sari, dan mengkaji hambatan serta kemudahan yang dilewati guru dalam membina karakter peserta didik. Penelitian ini adalah field research kualitatif deskriptif, subjek penelitian ini adalah Sekolah Dasar Negeri Ringin Sari, teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan interviw, obeservasi, dan dokumentasi terhadap guru dan peserta didik Sekolah Dasar Negeri Ringin Sari. Hasil research ini mengungkapkan upaya yang telah dilaksanakan guru dalam membina karakter peserta didik tidak sekedar berkenaan dengan sopan santun, pergaulan, perbuatan pada kehidupan sehari-hari. Keteladanan guru juga dapat dilihat pada perkembangan spiritual peserta didik dengan perantara mengisi jiwa dan pikiran peserta didik dengan sifat sabar, bertanggung jawab, tidak memihak kesalahan, amanah, suka memaafkan, dan seluruh sifat tersebut harus dicontohkan melalui kepribadian dewan guru. Faktor penghambatan yang dialami guru dalam pembinaan karakter yaitu minimnya pemahaman agama yang dimiliki peserta didik serta pengaruh lingkungan yang kurang mendukung.
